Are you living your best life?

Are you living your best life?

I know that I am not. There are still things that I hold myself back from, that I limit, that I second guess, that I avoid, that is an internal battle. I thought in the beginning that being a mindset mentor meant I had to have it altogether – but that’s not true. Its not real.

A few days ago a dear colleague and leader in the coaching industry passed away, taking his own life. To the outside world he had it all together, incredibly successful in life, family and business, but the inner world was a different story. A powerful reminder that none of us are immune from our own inner turmoil.

We see what we want to see in the outer world and social media paints the picture that everything is going well.

But there is pain and sadness underneath.

Be kind to yourself and others, you don’t know what is really happening behind a person’s smile.

In memory of Brian and his daughter Madison who is holding the load of her father passing these are her words.

“No-one is ever “too big”, “too influential” or “too anything” to have problems or to seek help. The change begins with you. Bring your darkness to the light.”

It is time for change. To seek help. To be more open.

I am committed to sharing more openly and vulnerably so that more people know that it is safe to do that.

I wish you a week of peace, courage and living your best life from this day onward.

One of the hardest things to do…

One of the hardest things to do… is REST. This was something I was never really good at. I couldn’t even take five minutes out for myself without justifying how “busy” I was. It used to feel really uncomfortable to put myself first. Thankfully I have learnt how do to...

Is there ever a “right time”?

Is there ever a “right time”?

People often tell themselves  that they are  too busy, too early, too late, or I’ll start "when the time is right." But what if time isn't the problem? Nature doesn't hesitate. A tree knows when to let go of its leaves and when to grow new ones. It doesn't overthink...
