Are you really doing what you want?

Are you really doing what you want?

When you change the way you look at things the thing you look at change.

I loved finding out about paradigms because it meant that I knew I could do more, be more and help more people by changing the limiting beliefs that I had that were no longer serving me, and show others how to do the same.

A paradigm is a mental program that has almost exclusive control over out habitual behavior and almost all of our behavior is habitual. Paradigms are a multitude of habits that have been passed down from one generation to the next, they are other peoples habits that are either serving you or they are not.

These are the areas of your life that your paradigm has enormous influence over

1. Your perception

2. Use of time

3. Creativity

4. Effectiveness

5. Productivity

6. Logic

7. Ability to earn money

Your paradigm puts you in a box in all of these areas. You have to learn how to override the paradigm. Logic is the ceiling that you keep bumping up against – you tell yourself that you have got to be a realist and this logic stops you from moving forward.

We reason away our ideas, our success, that we don’t have the money. We reason away our ability, our untapped potential, how good we actually are.

Just imagine how your entire life will change as you begin improving any of these areas in your life? Once your awareness changes you change.

What are you justifying to yourself in your life that you can go without, that you don’t have time for, that you don’t have the money for?

What stops most people is that they don’t feel worthy of the good that they desire. Imagine if you did feel worthy of all the good that you do want.

Ask yourself today – What do I really want? What do I really love to do? What have I been justifying away that I cant have or do?

Do something today that you love. Book in something today that you have been putting off. Be kind to yourself.

Watch your words

Watch your words

The word Abracadabra is said to have ancient Aramaic roots connected to the idea of “I create with my words.” There is an old saying: “You are hung by the tongue.” What are you saying about yourself, your life and your circumstances? Be mindful of the story you speak...

One of the hardest things to do…

One of the hardest things to do… is REST. This was something I was never really good at. I couldn’t even take five minutes out for myself without justifying how “busy” I was. It used to feel really uncomfortable to put myself first. Thankfully I have learnt how do to...

Is there ever a “right time”?

Is there ever a “right time”?

People often tell themselves  that they are  too busy, too early, too late, or I’ll start "when the time is right." But what if time isn't the problem? Nature doesn't hesitate. A tree knows when to let go of its leaves and when to grow new ones. It doesn't overthink...
