Have you noticed how easy it is to get swept up with all that happens in your day or week. The “To do” lists, the “Busyness” of life.
One of the habits over the past few years that I have implemented is creating my day in advance. I have learnt to focus on the 24 hours ahead of me, particularly with 4 children and a business as things are constantly changing.
This has allowed me to be pro-active rather than reactive, calm and productive.
Over the past week I noticed that I needed to be put this into action and focus on the 1 or 2 hours ahead of me as there was lots happening. This allowed me to step back and focus on where I was in the present and not be concerned about what else I had to do. I just stayed in the moment and the task at hand.
I create the “intention” that everything would work out perfectly and with the outcome that I desired. I was also being open to being surprised and delighted.
Be intentional. Be more present and see how this changes your focus and how you feel.
Have a wonderful start to your week.
