Choose Connection

I caught up with friends recently, and the evening was full of laughter, lightness, and joy. It reminded me how powerful connection can be—how simply sharing presence can lift your energy.

Even though every one of us had things going on in our lives, we didn’t talk about problems. We just focused on the good. And the night? It was truly uplifting.

This is the law of polarity in action.

There are two sides to everything—light and dark, up and down. Problems will always exist. But the truth is, you’ve been conditioned to focus on them—through the news, social media, and habit.

What if you flipped the focus?

We all get 24 hours each day. If you spend 8 sleeping, and 8 working (in theory)… What are you doing with the other 8 hours?

Are you filling them with meaning?
Are you truly living, or just in the doing and going through the motions?

Make time for you.
Create space for connection.
Put it in the calendar—be intentional and on purpose.

It’s simple to do. And just as simple not to do.

Laughter and connection really are the best medicine.
This week, choose to be uplifting—for yourself and for those around you.

Here’s to an amazing week ahead.

One of the hardest things to do…

One of the hardest things to do… is REST. This was something I was never really good at. I couldn’t even take five minutes out for myself without justifying how “busy” I was. It used to feel really uncomfortable to put myself first. Thankfully I have learnt how do to...

Is there ever a “right time”?

Is there ever a “right time”?

People often tell themselves  that they are  too busy, too early, too late, or I’ll start "when the time is right." But what if time isn't the problem? Nature doesn't hesitate. A tree knows when to let go of its leaves and when to grow new ones. It doesn't overthink...
