Everyone has an imagination. Most people are using it against themselves. Visualisation is the process of you choosing what you want and then spending some time using your imagination to see it in your mind.
Get into the habit of visualising every day (you’re doing it anyway whether you realise it or not). The purpose of actively visualising is to focus on how you want your life to be.
A great time to do it is when you are relaxed, as in first thing when you wake up and when you go to sleep. Visualise for 2, 5 or 10 minutes.
The science behind visualisation tells us the reason it works so well is that your mental rehearsal of a task has the same effect as physically performing the task (the same neural connections and pathways fire up whether you are actually doing the task or just visualising yourself doing the task). When you imagine yourself being successful and engage your emotions you create a neural network of that image in your mind. Frequently visualising the scene impresses the image onto your subconscious.
Your brain starts looking for things in the physical world that match these images so they become automatically attracted to the right opportunities when they come your way.
Play around with this. Start looking for certain cars, symbols etc and see what you begin to notice.
