I have been working on an important project over the past 6 months and have been thrown some pretty big curve balls along the way.
It is easy to get caught up in the problem, to be frustrated, get annoyed, judgmental , place blame, when you feel like ripping your hair out, you know the story!!! It wastes ALOT of energy.
I have learnt that there is another way.
And that is to focus on the SOLUTION, the outcome you desire.
Since I have been using the process below – it takes the angst out of things and conserves energy. I can come from a place of being calm and relaxed, knowing that it will work out.
Step 1 Recognise you are in the problem and what is happening that you don’t want.
Step 2 Focus on the end result. What do you want to happen? How will that feel?
Step 3 Be intentional. Visualise this end result, feel it and expect it to happen, not knowing the how.
Step 4 Let go. Detach from the outcome and how it will work out.
These steps involve building your mental muscles. Choosing the outcome from the inside out.
You and I have been conditioned to stay stuck, focusing on the problem, not knowing the how.

One of the hardest things to do… is REST. This was something I was never really good at. I couldn’t even take five minutes out for myself without justifying how “busy” I was. It used to feel really uncomfortable to put myself first. Thankfully I have learnt how do to...
People often tell themselves that they are too busy, too early, too late, or I’ll start "when the time is right." But what if time isn't the problem? Nature doesn't hesitate. A tree knows when to let go of its leaves and when to grow new ones. It doesn't overthink...
