Just let it flow

Do you sometimes feel that personal development or “doing something for yourself” is sometimes more stress and pressure than pleasure?

Do you sometimes think to yourself, “but I still have to do this or that?”, “I need a morning routine.” or “Only when I do XYZ can I be successful.”

And between all the yoga exercises, meditations, affirmations, smoothies and journals, you sometimes forget what would actually be good for you right now. Just doing nothing?

There’s nothing wrong with action taking, meditating, journaling, exercising or reading inspirational books, but sometimes there’s just nothing more that needs to be done. Just be. Just let things flow.

There are times for action and there are times for quiet, still moments as well. You also need breaks. I was driving for a couple of hours over the weekend and I chose to do so in silence, to just be and see what thoughts came up. Because often it is precisely these moments in which you can best connect with your intuition. Where you can draw inspiration.

The most important thing I’ve learned is the art of sitting back. To connect and have faith. To feel your intuition and simply surrender to the flow of life.

Here’s to a wonderful week ahead.

One of the hardest things to do… is REST. This was something I was never really good at. I couldn’t even take five minutes out for myself without justifying how “busy” I was. It used to feel really uncomfortable to put myself first. Thankfully I have learnt how do to...

Is there ever a “right time”?

Is there ever a “right time”?

People often tell themselves  that they are  too busy, too early, too late, or I’ll start "when the time is right." But what if time isn't the problem? Nature doesn't hesitate. A tree knows when to let go of its leaves and when to grow new ones. It doesn't overthink...
