Sometimes things don’t turn out how you want…

Sometimes things don’t work out how you want.

I am sure that this has happened for you.  It is easy to fall into disappointment, frustration, sadness, the list goes on.  Logically its hard to understand when things don’t work out.

What I have learnt is there is a grander plan, a matrix that we can’t see that is unfolding.  If you look back you may realise that sometimes these things that don’t work out, either do work out in the end or are even better.

This happened for me when we were looking for our dream house.  I was set on number19.  I loved it!!!  I expected to live there, visualised myself there, tucking the kids into bed of a night, having a cup of coffee out on the deck in the sun, overlooking the ocean.  We didn’t get that house and I was devastated.  6 months later number 26 came up for sale and it ticked all the boxes.  I drive past number19 every day and am so grateful that we are where we are because number 26 is way better.

Understand that if things don’t work out there is an even better plan occurring behind the scenes that you just aren’t aware are of yet.

This really helped to build my belief.  “Everything is always working out for me”. It became my mantra.

Have a fantastic week ahead!

One of the hardest things to do…

One of the hardest things to do… is REST. This was something I was never really good at. I couldn’t even take five minutes out for myself without justifying how “busy” I was. It used to feel really uncomfortable to put myself first. Thankfully I have learnt how do to...

Is there ever a “right time”?

Is there ever a “right time”?

People often tell themselves  that they are  too busy, too early, too late, or I’ll start "when the time is right." But what if time isn't the problem? Nature doesn't hesitate. A tree knows when to let go of its leaves and when to grow new ones. It doesn't overthink...
