The Law of Rhythm

I have off days/weeks too and this has been one of those where I just haven’t been up to standard in my thoughts and feelings !!  Thankfully I have learnt about the law of rhythm and understand the tide comes in and goes back out and my energy levels will be on the rise.

I found this creed over the weekend and wanted to share it with you. I am printing it out for myself and reading it every day as a reminder.  It fills me with hope for the day ahead as I hope it does for youHave a wonderful start to the week!!!

Originally published In 1912 in a book titled Your Forces and How to Use Them, this famous creed by Christian D. Larson is worth reading every morning and evening.

Promise yourself…

To be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind.

To talk health, happiness, and prosperity to every person you meet.

To make all your friends feel that there is something worthwhile in them.

To look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true.

To think only of the best, to work only for the best and to expect only the best.

To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own.

To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future.

To wear a cheerful expression at all times and give a smile to every living creature you meet.

To give so much time to improving yourself that you have no time to criticize others.

To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear, and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.

To think well of yourself and to proclaim this fact to the world, not in loud word, but in great deeds.

To live in the faith that the whole world is on your side, so long as you are true to the best that is in you.

One of the hardest things to do…

One of the hardest things to do… is REST. This was something I was never really good at. I couldn’t even take five minutes out for myself without justifying how “busy” I was. It used to feel really uncomfortable to put myself first. Thankfully I have learnt how do to...

Is there ever a “right time”?

Is there ever a “right time”?

People often tell themselves  that they are  too busy, too early, too late, or I’ll start "when the time is right." But what if time isn't the problem? Nature doesn't hesitate. A tree knows when to let go of its leaves and when to grow new ones. It doesn't overthink...
