This too will pass

One thing I keep reminding myself lately is… this too will pass.

When big change happens in life, it can throw you into a spin. It can feel destabilising, uncomfortable, messy and completely out of control. We often think growth should feel exciting and inspiring every step of the way, but sometimes growth feels more like falling apart before coming back together.

I liken it to surgery. Before healing begins, there is discomfort. Things are opened up, shifted, removed and repaired. It’s tender for a while before strength returns. But the process has purpose.

Maybe you are in that in-between season right now.

The messy middle. The transition.

It’s like baking a cake. When all the ingredients are mixed together, it looks messy. Nothing about it resembles the finished product. But with time, heat, patience and trust in the process, something beautiful is created.

Trust that not everything uncertain is wrong.  Surrender to the process.

Sometimes life is simply re-shaping you for what’s next.

Have an amazing week ahead!
