What desire is inside of you that wants to be expressed?

That feeling when you have just lived a future memory on your vision board. This picture has been on my vision board since 2018. I not only wanted to sponsor villages, I wanted to go and visit them.

I saw Celia Kersey on stage at Bob Proctor event and I was mesmerised. She shared about the Unstoppable Foundation and the impact it was having in Kenya and I could feel the desire build. It started out as an idea, a feeling, a “yes” I want to do that. And very quickly backed up with a “how are you ever going to be able to do that. You don’t make enough money”.

I followed the process I had been taught and rather than reject the idea I started with what I had and made a small donation. The donations then got bigger. I then put myself on the hook to sponsor a student for the college of mechanics paying their education and board for 2 years. And my business grew. I then made the decision to “tithe” 10% of my income so that I could sponsor a village.

Inside of me I had a desire, a dream that had been brewing since I was 12. I studied Agricultural Science so I could work in 3rd world countries. I volunteered in Cambodia with my children to build a wash station. The Unstoppable Foundation gave me the opportunity to really give. To stretch myself not knowing the how, but knowing it was something that I just had to do.

You won’t know how long it will take. If you doubt and second guess yourself it will take longer. If you tap into belief and faith that it will happen then all the people, resources and opportunities will show up.

Watch your words

Watch your words

One of the hardest things to do…

One of the hardest things to do… is REST. This was something I was never really good at. I couldn’t even take five minutes out for myself without justifying how “busy” I was. It used to feel really uncomfortable to put myself first. Thankfully I have learnt how do to...

Is there ever a “right time”?

Is there ever a “right time”?

People often tell themselves  that they are  too busy, too early, too late, or I’ll start "when the time is right." But what if time isn't the problem? Nature doesn't hesitate. A tree knows when to let go of its leaves and when to grow new ones. It doesn't overthink...
