Why it is so important to have a great attitude?

Light bulb moments this week as I delved further into understanding attitude and the mind.

Neville Goddard, author of The Power of Awareness helps in his explanation.  He says “The rich man, poor man, beggar man and thief are not different minds but just different arrangements of the dame mind.  Just like a pices of steel when magnetized differs not in substance from its demagnitised state but in the arrangement and order of its molecule

When a piece of steel or anything else is demagnetized, the magnetism, has not gone out of existence.  There is only a rearrangement of the particles, so that they produce no outside or perceptible effect. When particles are arranged at random, mixed up in all directions, the substance is said to be demagnetized.  When the particles all face in one direction the substance is a magnet.

How does this apply to attitude.  Remember your attitude is a composite of your thoughts, feelings and actions.  When these are in alignment you create a magnet for all the good that you desire. When they are not in alignment, you become demagnetized to the good and will attract what ever you are in harmony with. Your results =  your attitude.  Change your attitude = Change your results.

This is also true for your goals.  Your thoughts are like your Global Positioning System (GPS).  What is your internal GPS set to?  Even if you have a goal – if your thoughts actions and feelings are like the picture on the left – all over the place you will be driving around aimlessly in your life.

When you have an understanding that your thoughts, feelings and actions need to be in alignment with your goal you will create clarity and focus. Where you are going will be like the picture on the right and everything will be moving forward.

Do an inventory for yourself

  1. Do you have a clear goal that you are emotionally connected with?
  2. How is your attitude? Are your thoughts feelings and actions in alignment?
  3. What are you being guided too?

We tend to settle for what is easy and miss the abundance and satisfaction that is right there waiting for us to become aware.

Listen and say yes to the opportunities that are coming your way, be it people, resources, invitations, offers.

What can you say YES to that will make a change for you moving forward?

Watch your words

Watch your words

One of the hardest things to do…

One of the hardest things to do… is REST. This was something I was never really good at. I couldn’t even take five minutes out for myself without justifying how “busy” I was. It used to feel really uncomfortable to put myself first. Thankfully I have learnt how do to...

Is there ever a “right time”?

Is there ever a “right time”?

People often tell themselves  that they are  too busy, too early, too late, or I’ll start "when the time is right." But what if time isn't the problem? Nature doesn't hesitate. A tree knows when to let go of its leaves and when to grow new ones. It doesn't overthink...
