Are you riding the waves?

Success, setbacks, more success and another setback?

You’ve all heard it before—success isn’t a straight line. When things fall apart or don’t go to plan, the advice is usually clear: dust yourself off, get back up, and keep going. It sounds like a good strategy, right?

Logically, yes. But the truth is, we’re human beings, not machines. You feel deeply. You experience the highs of excitement and momentum when everything is going well. And you also feel the crushing weight of disappointment when it’s not.

It all works—until it doesn’t.

The emotional rollercoaster of pursuing your goals can be exhausting. One moment, you’re riding high, fuelled by purpose and progress. The next, you’re questioning everything. Why am I doing this? Is it even working? Will it ever work?

And then—just like that—something shifts. A breakthrough happens, an opportunity opens up, or a small win lands in your lap. Hope returns. You find yourself rebuilding belief, starting to trust that maybe, just maybe, you can do it.

But the wave doesn’t stop there. Before long, you’re back in the swell of frustration, self-doubt, or disappointment.

Recently, a dear friend shared an analogy with me that hit home: learning to be still and calm in the storm, no matter what’s happening around you.

I believe, this one of the most powerful lessons I’ve ever embraced.

It’s not about pretending everything is perfect or bypassing your emotions. It’s about developing an inner belief that everything is always working out, even when it doesn’t look like it in the moment.

This shift—from fear to faith—isn’t a quick fix.

It’s deep, internal work.

Once you anchor yourself in that mindset, external chaos doesn’t shake you in the same way.

You become more grounded, more resilient, and more at peace with the process.

If this message resonates with you and you’re ready to explore this shift more deeply, reach out I’d love to speak with you.

Watch your words

One of the hardest things to do…

One of the hardest things to do… is REST. This was something I was never really good at. I couldn’t even take five minutes out for myself without justifying how “busy” I was. It used to feel really uncomfortable to put myself first. Thankfully I have learnt how do to...

Is there ever a “right time”?

Is there ever a “right time”?

People often tell themselves  that they are  too busy, too early, too late, or I’ll start "when the time is right." But what if time isn't the problem? Nature doesn't hesitate. A tree knows when to let go of its leaves and when to grow new ones. It doesn't overthink...
