I never liked change

I never liked change.

I used to have to control everything. I was a perfectionist and a worrier. This all stemmed from my childhood and trying to create safety for myself subconsciously.

These behaviours went from childhood to my early 40’s.

I thought if I could control my environment then everything would be alright.  I was reactive, frustrated and exhausted.  Trying to achieve something that was unattainable. I was trying to row a boat upstream.

I was reacting to my environment from the outside in. I found out it was the wrong way around.

I learnt that change was the only constant and I was the one that needed to change. I learnt to respond. I learnt to undo the perfection, I released habits and ways that weren’t serving me.

I learnt to come from the inside out.

I became lighter, happier and was able to come from a place of ease.

What things do you try and control that would be better for you to let go of?

Have an amazing week ahead!!!

Is there ever a “right time”?

Is there ever a “right time”?

People often tell themselves  that they are  too busy, too early, too late, or I’ll start "when the time is right." But what if time isn't the problem? Nature doesn't hesitate. A tree knows when to let go of its leaves and when to grow new ones. It doesn't overthink...
